NUMBER OF BALLOT BOXES FOR THE GENERAL AND OPEN CONSTITUENCIES

There were no over printing of ballot papers for the General and Open Constituencies as alleged.

This was confirmed by the statistics given by the Office of the Supervisor of Elections.

The total number of ordinary ballot papers for the Suva City General seat was 4740. There were only 474 books of 10.

For the North eastern General communal there were a total of 15480. There were 679 books of 10, 217 books of 20 and 87 books of 50 and another 1500 was reordered.

In addition, there were a total of18080 printed for the Western/Central General communal. There were 664 books of 10, 412 books of 20, 38 books 50 and 13 books of 100 and an additional 4000 was reordered.

Furthermore, a total of 54610 were printed for the Rotuma Communal. There were 1320 books of 10, 383 books of 20, 51 books of 50 and 512 books of 100.

A total of 30380 were printed for the Tailevu North/ Ovalau Open. There were 340 books of 10, 459 books of 20, 96 books of 50 and 130 books of 100.

For the Tailevu South/ Ovalau Open seat, a total of 30310 were printed. There were 881 books of 10, 440 books of 20, 224 books of 50 and 15 books of 100.

Likewise for the Nausori/ Naitasiri open a total of 31370 were printed. There were 423 books of 10, 302 books of 20, 170 books of 50 and 126 books of 100 and another 5000 was reordered.

The Nasinu/Rewa Open had a total of 39070. There were 287 books of 10, 400 books of 20, 200 books 50 and 182 books of 100 and another 4000 was reordered.

For the Cunningham seat a total of 30300 were printed. There were 80 books of 10, 50 books of 20, 50 books of 50 and 260 books of 100.

Furthermore, the total for the Laucala seat was45790. There were 289 books of 10 and 429 books of 100.

Likewise, the total for the Samabula/Tamavua seat was 34510. There were 191 books of 10 and 326 books of 100.

The total for the Suva City Open was 48050. There were 395 books of 10 and 441 books of 100 and for the Lami Open, the total was 42500. There were 700 books of 10, 500 books of 20, 250 books of 50 and 130 books of 100.

For the Lomaivuna/Namosi/Kadavu Open the total was 32490. There were 1499 books of 10, 500 books of 20, 110 books of 50 and 20 books of 100.

Likewise for the Ra Open seat the total was 28700. There were 310 books of 10, 330 books of 20, 140 books of 50 and 120 books of 100.

The total for the Tavua open constituency was 38950. There were 400 books of 10, 360 books of 20, 295 books of 50 and 130 books of 100.

For Ba Open, the total was 29890. There were 339 books of 10, 200 books of 20, 150 books of 50 and 150 books of 100.

In addition, the total for the Magodro Open was 32540. There were 454 books of 10, 300 books of 20, 230 books of 50 and 105 books of 100.

The total for the Lautoka City Open was 24870. There were 501 books of 10, 218 books of 20, 150 books of 50 and 80 books of 100.

A total of 30130 were printed for the Vuda Open seat. There were 543 books of 10, 185 books of 20, 160 books of 50 and 130 books of 100.

Furthermore, a total of 41500 were printed for the Nadi open seat. There were 150 books of 10, 200 books of 20, 240 books of 50 and 240 books of 100.

For the Yasawa/Namaka Open a total of 29720 were printed. There were 677 books of 10, 355 books of 20, 175 books of 50 and 71 books of 100.

The Nadroga Open had a total of 24300. There were 130 books of 10, 150 books of 20, 200 books of 50 and 100 books of 100.

For the Serua/Navosa seat the total was 50810. There were 1136 books of 10, 435 books of 20, 255 books of 50 and 180 books of 100.

The total for the Bua/ Macuata west open was 45150. There were 1136 books of 10, 462 books of 20, 191 books of 50 and 150 books of 100.

A total of 20360 were printed for the Labasa open seat. There were 452 books of 10, 47 books of 20, 40 books of 50 and 129 books of 100.

For the Macuata East Open the total was 21200. There were 208 books of 10, 101 books of 20, 72 books of 50 and 135 books of 100.

Likewise, the total for the Cakaudrove Wes Open was 33520. There were 2027 books of 10, 320 books of 20, 107 books of 50 and 15 books of 100.

Finally the total for the Lau/Taveuni/Rotuma Open Constituency was 37150. There were 1585 books of 10, 760 books of 20 and 122 books of 50.
