TIKOINASAU WINS TAILEVU NORTH FIJIAN PROVINCIAL COMMUNAL SEAT

Samisoni Tikoinasau of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua Party was declared the winner of the Tailevu North Fijian Communal Constituency.

Tikoinasau was declared winner over four other candidates including the Fiji Labour Party (FLP), the National Federation Party (NFP) and the Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party (NVTLP).

In addition, the SDL managed to secure a majority of 6281 votes over second place NVTLP with 1171 votes and FLP with 278 votes.

There were 7764 valid votes against 923 invalid votes living the total number of votes counted at 8687.
