TED YOUNG RETAINS LOMAIVUNA/NAMOSI/KADAVU OPEN

Caretaker Minister for Provincial Development, Ted Young retains the Lomaivuna/Namosi/Kadavu open seat after winning on the first count with 11,817 votes.

The other two candidates in this constituency, Peter Lee an independent had 1,395 votes while the Fiji Labour Party’s Mitieli Baleivanualala had 2,972 votes.

The total number of ballot papers counted was 17,816 while the invalid ballot papers was 1,632 leaving the total number of valid ballot papers at 8,093.

The number of voters registered in this constituency is 17,816.
