SUVA CITY OPEN PROGRESSIVE RESULTS

At the end of the first progressive count of the Suva City Open constituency number 54 the following votes were recorded.

Valid votes – 12,038
Invalid votes – 813

Votes required for an absolute majority – 6020

The result of the voting is as follows :

Ofa M.P Swann (independent) – 341 votes
Epeli Gavidi Ganilau (NAPF) – 1,763 votes
Inoke Seru Tikotikoca (UPP) – 223 votes
Misaele Weleilakeba (SDL) – 5,707 votes
Tom Ricketts (FLP) – 3,261 votes
Attar Singh (NFP) – 745 votes

As no candidate has attained the absolute majority, the Returning Officer Central Inoke Devo has excluded UPP’s Inoke Seru Tikotikoca and the Count Team will now proceed with the second progressive count.
