BANUVE RETAINS NORTH WEST FIJIAN URBAN COMMUNAL

Joji Natadra Banuve has retained the North West Fijian Urban communal seat – constituency number 19 on the first count with 11,620 votes.

In second place was Akanisi Koroitamana FLP with 2017 votes, Ravuama Nanovu Independent with 477 votes, Maikeli Lalabalavu NFP 158 votes, Vuli Mahe UPP with 115 votes, Lemeki Vuetaki National Alliance with 283 votes and Mosese Tukikaukamea Independent with 31 votes.

The total number of ballot papers counted was 15,550 with 849 considered as invalid votes leaving 14,701 as the total number of valid papers.

The number of voters required for the majority (50% + 1) is 7,352. The total number of registered voters in this constituency is 18,244.
