SECOND PROGRESSIVE COUNT FOR SUVA CITY OPEN

At the end of the second progressive count of the Suva City Open, the following votes were recorded.

Valid votes – 12,038
Invalid votes – 813

Votes required for an absolute majority – 6,020.

The result of the second progressive count is as follows :

Ofa Swann (Independent) - 345 votes excluded
Epeli Ganilau (NAPF) – 1,765 votes
Misaele Weleilakeba (SDL) – 5,707 votes
Tom Ricketts (FLP) – 3,475 votes
Attar Singh (NFP) – 746 votes

Returning Officer Central, Inoke Devo has excluded Ofa Swann and the Count team will now proceed with the third progressive count.
