RALULU WINS BA EAST FIJIAN SEAT

Paulo Ralulu of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL) party has secured the Ba East Fijian seat with 5528 votes on the first count.

He won against Ponipate Lesavua of the Party of National Unity with 2,888 votes and Apimeleki Nabaro of the National Federation Party with 732 votes.

The total number of ballot papers counted was 10,215 with 1067 considered as invalid leaving the total number of valid papers at 9,148.

The number of voters required for a majority win is 4,574 and the total number of registered voters for this constituency is 11799.
