BULANAUCA WINS BUA FIJIAN PROVINCIAL COMMUNAL SEAT

Mitieli Bulanauca of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Leweninvanua Party (SDL) has been declared the winner for constituency number one, the Bua Fijian Provincial Communal Constituency by the Returning Officer Northern Misieli Naivalu.

He has been declared winner over three other independent candidates.

Mr. Bulanauca won 4,321 votes over Selaima Veisamasama an independent with 684 votes, Etonia Bose also an independent with 207 votes and Josateki Vula also an independent with 146 votes.

In addition, the total number of ballot papers counted for this constituency was 6245. The number of invalid ballot papers was 887 against the number of valid ballot papers of 5358.

The number of voters required for a majority was 2680.
