RAKURO WINS NADROGA OPEN SEAT

After the fourth consecutive count for the Nadroga Open constituency Mesulame Rakuro of the Fiji Labour Party declared the winner.

In addition, Rakuro won a total of 7939 votes altogether after the fourth round of counting.

The number of votes counted was 16,694 out of which 14838 was declared valid against 1856 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes needed to gain a majority was 7420.
