BEDDOES WINS WESTERN CENTRAL GENERAL COMMUNAL SEAT

Mick Beddoes was declared the winner for the Western Central General Communal Seat by the Returning Officer Western Savenaca Kaunisela.

Beddoes was declared the winner after gaining the majority vote for this constituency.

In addition, Beddoes won a total of 2234 votes over four other candidates from the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL) and the National Alliance Party (NAP).

The number of votes counted was 4657 out of which 4426 was declared valid against 231 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes needed to gain a majority was 2214.
