NAGUSUCA WINS NORTH EAST FIJIAN URBAN COMMUNAL SEAT

Nanise Kasami Nagusuca of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua was declared the winner for the North East Fijian Communal seat.

Nagusuca was declared the winner after gaining the majority vote for this constituency.

In addition, she won a total of 11,545 votes over three other candidates from the Fiji Labour Party (FLP) and two independents.

The number of votes counted was 14,560 out of which 13,654 was declared valid against 906 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes needed to gain a majority was 6828.
