WELEILAKEBA WINS SUVA CITY OPEN SEAT

Misaele Weleilakeba of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua was declared the winner for the Suva City open constituency.

Weleilakeba was declared the winner after gaining the majority vote for this constituency.

In addition, he won a total of 6135 votes over five other candidates after five consecutive counts.

The number of votes counted was 12,851 out of which 12,038 was declared valid against 813 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes needed to gain a majority was 6020.
