ANTHONY WINS VUDA OPEN SEAT

Trade Unionist Felix Anthony of the Fiji Labour Party (FLP) was declared the winner for the Vuda Open seat.

Anthony was declared the winner by the Returning Officer Western Savenaca Kaunisela after gaining the majority vote for this constituency.

In addition, Anthony won a total of 9745 votes over three other candidates from the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL), National Federation Party (NFP), and the Party of National Unity.

The number of votes counted was 17301 out of which 15678 was declared valid against 1623 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes needed to gain a majority was 7840.
