MASILACA WINS ANOTHER FOR SDL

Asaeli Masilaca of the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua has been declared the winner for the Nausori/Naitasiri Open Constituency after four consecutive counts.

Masilaca edged out Fiji Labour Party candidate Lavenia Padarath to win this seat.

The number of ballot papers counted for this constituency was 17,286 and the number of valid votes was 15,813 against 1473 invalid votes.

Furthermore, the number of votes required to obtain a majority was 7908.
